What we do

Footprint Zero is an innovative, highly experienced sustainability focussed consultancy and developer.  Our objective is to help organisations reduce their carbon footprint by harnessing the power of the sun across a number of environmentally advantageous and commercially beneficial platforms, utilising property and resources predominantly already in-situ.

Essentially, we are a company who recognise, take advantage of and optimise non-revenue producing assets by converting them into green fundable income streams.

Renewable energy, particularly solar energy is at our core.

How we do it

U

DISCOVER

Many businesses don’t necessarily realise the potential of their plant and assets, so this initial stage is vital for understanding your business and its needs and how you currently operate, via an audit and analysis of your assets and physical estate.  This typically includes looking at size, usage, available roof and land space, employee habits, transport and parking, and current energy consumption and spend.

l

DEVELOP

We then develop a feasibility study, business case, project recommendations and budget proposal.  Once you’ve agreed to proceed, we then undergo an in depth site survey, from which we produce a structural assessment report, detailed designs and a quotation.

DELIVER

It’s then on to delivery and installation.  Although most solar powered products have robust longevity and require little maintenance, Footprint Zero does provide operational care and maintenance as an option for extra peace of mind.

Why us?

We differentiate ourselves from other providers in the market

Foremost by understanding your operational and commercial needs, and providing a dynamic set of solutions aligned to your type and size of organisation.

We wholly appreciate the need for flexibility and scalability

We have developed products and service options that suit specific business requirements and ambitions, ranging from separate, or fully integrated multi-asset solutions.

We have long established and strong partnerships with third party suppliers

Allowing us fast access to the latest technology and reliable service response and support when required.

The extended Footprint Zero team has over 500 MW of installation experience

Making us one of the most experienced partners in the UK, who you can trust to deliver your solar solution.

Funding

We can also bring funding to your project, meaning that the cap ex requirement of an installation need not slow down the commencement of work and energisation of your solar array. Our model is flexible in which at one end of the spectrum Footprint Zero owns and funds the installation and sells the solar at an agreed price via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to the off-taker, or we can simply act as the consultancy , experienced in gaining the approvals and modelling and installing your solar energy opportunities for you to own.

In between these options are multiple hybrids where we are happy to co-own and co-fund a project and share in the revenues derived from the energy we produce, again through a PPA agreement.

As we assess each option together Footprint Zero will provide a clear business model and cash flow forecast to ensure you are well informed to make the decision that is right for you and your business.
